The Mathematics Trainers’ Guild, (MTG) Philippines in coordination with the DOST-Science Education Institute is all set for the last international competition for this year that is the 2nd International Young Mathematicians Convention (IYMC) organized by City Montessori Inter College. Lucknow, INDIA on November 30 to December 7, 2006.

MTG has disclosed 67 names of high school students who can be the possible qualifiers to fill in the 6 teams of 3 members each. Since only 18 slots are open for the said competition, the participants will have to confirm their participation as official delegates through a first come-first serve basis.

Participants who intend to participate in the contest are required to download the registration form below and fill it up and fax it (062) 992-3045 or email it at rjd182001@yahoo.com on or before October 6, 2006.

Once we received your filled up your registration form, we will send you the other pertinent papers like the amount for the travel expenses, DSWD letter, Letter of Information to the principal etc. thru email. Failure to submit the form before the deadline will be considered backing out and the slot will be given to the MTG Trainees.

Remember, we will only send the other detailed information regarding the contest once we receive the registration form & confirmation from the participant. Below is the list of qualifiers. The official list of participants to the India Contest will only be posted in the internet after we received the complete pertinent papers for travel from the first eighteen participants.
