Hey, Kids! Want to be a young scientist? If you are an elementary pupil, then this is your chance now! Come and join the 2007 International Competitions and Assessment for Schools-Science (ICASS).
The Educational Assessment Australia (EAA), a non-profit organization owned by the University of New South Wales, through the Mathematics Trainers’ Guild (MTG), Philippines is now accepting registration of participants for the 2007 ICASS which is scheduled on Saturday, August 4, 2007.
Since the ICASS contest has 5 subject areas, hence, this attested that ICASS contest forms the largest independent assessment program for schools in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, India, South Africa, Hong Kong and the Pacific region, it received nearly 2 million entries from participants in 2006. This only shows that the growing international uptake of ICASS indicates the global acceptance of this Australian-developed education resource. It also indicates that the Australian education standards represent benchmarks to which schools and students in other countries wish to be compared.
