The series of international math competitions is forthcoming mostly in July and August. Since the departure is drawing near, the Mathematics Trainers’ Guild (MTG), Philippines has set a schedule for a pre-departure orientation of all the participants who will join the Po Leung Kuk Primary World Mathematics Competition, Hong Kong, July 13-18, 2007; Huabeisai, China, July 16-20, 2007 and Invitational World Youth International Mathematics Competition on July 20-27, 2007 in China. The orientation and the final rehearsal of the cultural presentation will be on July 8, 2007 at 9 o’clock in the morning at the Arellano University, Legarda.

However, participants from the province may not attend the briefing/orientation. The details in the briefing with the training materials will just be given thru email. Therefore, MTG kids from the province are requested to inform thru an e-mail to Mr. Robert Degolacion that they are participants of the above international math contests and that they need the information transpired in the orientation. The said briefing is scheduled on a Sunday so that it will not disturb classes and most especially the Saturday rigid trainings. All the participants to the aforementioned international math contests are enjoined to attend so that important issues can be settled, finalized and above all vital information can well be disseminated.
