SHARP-MTG MATH TRAIL FINALS SET

Sixty four participants from 16 schools will finally settle the question, "Which school will end up the champion of the 1st SHARP-MTG Math Trail and Problem Solving Competition?"

The answer to the question will be known as 16 teams will meet again eye to eye in the Final Round at 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, October 4, 2008 at the Grace Christian College, Sto. Domingo St., Grace Village, Quezon City. However, all the finalists should be in the said contest venue not later than 1:30 pm for the registration and opening program.

In this Final Round, the contestants will be trailing the 9 checkpoints as they search and gather for information needed in the solution of the problems for an hour and thirty minutes. The Final Round requires from all teams to write their answers on the official answer sheets. At the end of the day, it is still real teamwork that matters in gaining the success every team desires to bring home. Therefore, as the questions are tougher this time, then the cooperation of every member of the group will always mean a big deal in standing taller, shining brighter and feeling prouder than the other teams.

All contest problems from all the 9 checkpoints require the participants to write their final answers on the answer sheets. Moreover, the contest problems of the last 3 checkpoints necessitate the participants to write the final answers and their complete solution on their answer sheets.

Furthermore, the champion team will be bringing home Php.10,000 in cash plus Php.20,000 worth of Thermos Products. The 2nd Placer gets Php.10,000 worth of Thermos Products while the 3rd Placer gets Php.8,000 worth of Thermos Products. All the top 3 winners will receive plaques and medals while the other finalists will receive certificates of patrticipation.The winning school will be bagging Php.25,000 worth of Collins Products, the 2nd Placer gets Php.15,000 worth of Collins Products and the 3rd Placer will bring home Php.10,000 worth of Collins Products.

Of course, the top 3 winning coaches will not go home empty handed. They, too, will receive gift items.

To all the 16 finalists, stand up to your obstacles and do something about them. You will find that they haven't half the strength you think they have. Good luck!!!
