
The Philippines makes another remarkable feat, bagging 3 medals in the 21st Po Leung Kuk Primary Mathematics World Contest (PMWC) held in Hong Kong on July 16 – 20 2018.
Showing their up to the mark performance in the individual contest and proudly waving and hoisting the Philippine flag were the silver medalist Jerome Austin N. Te of Jubilee Christian Academy and the bronze medalists Tracy Lauren T. Lei and Mohammad Nur G. Casib of St. Jude Catholic School and My Precious Child Learning Center (Marawi City), respectively.
Furthermore, the Philippine team was composed of Ervin Joshua V. Bautista of Southville International School and Maria Bernadette M. Landicho of Stonyhurst Southville International School - Batangas Campus, Neo Angelo Gatlabayan of British School Manila, Adrian Guanson C. Soriaga of St. Jude Catolic School and Michael Gerard R. Tongson of Stonyhurst Southville International School – Malarayat.
The PMWC had drawn participants from Australia, Bulgaria, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, USA and Vietnam.
The Philippine team was led by the team leader, Mr. Renard Eric Chua and deputy team leaders Mrs. Quennie Sarabia Flores and Mrs. Angeline Orosco.
