Thirty three (33) participants representing different schools in the country flew to Tia-an City, Shandong, China to compete in the China Junior High School Mathematical Olympiad 2005 held on August 2 to 9, 2005. The competition consisted of two parts; the first part followed the usual IMO procedure in solving word problems where detailed solution was required, while the second part needed only short answer.

Moreover, most of the MTG Kids brought home marks of distinction in different contest activities. Below are the results of the international mathematics contest.
