The Mathematics Trainers' Guild, (MTG) Philippines, still remaining steadfast in fulfilling the dreams of many young Filipino math wizards, will turn 20 in October this year. Several line-up activities ranging from the MTG fun shirt design contest, teacher seminar focusing on developing effective math coaches to international math contest dubbed as Challenge of the Future Mathematicians Olympiad and the highlight of them all, the MTG Gala Night, a grand reunion of MTG family, supporters, benefactors and past and present MTG kids will mark the founding anniversary.
This year’s celebration is distinctively meaningful since the past and present MTG kids with their parents can grab a collection of MTG fun shirts, coming in four colors and unique designs, and being sold at reasonable price.
The MTG fun shirts put on sale during the 2015 YMIITP are still available. Since the shirts are good until supply lasts, then interested kids or trainees may inquire and can order from

Moreover, the designs of the MTG Fun Shirts were entries of the following four finalists who complied with the mechanics: Kyle Marie G. Lustica, Grade 6, West Visayas State University-Integrated Laboratory School; Andrhea San Gabriel, Grade 7, University of Baguio-Science High School; Trisha Danielle Sia, Grade 5, Chiang Kai Shek College and Annika Angela Mei B. Tamayo, Grade 5, Ateneo de Iloilo.
From the four entries, the final overall winning design of the MTG fun shirt contest shall be selected on the following criteria: people’s choice/MTG family’s choice and the most saleable/marketable design (Selling period ends on September 30, 2015). The MTG kid artist of the winning design will receive a cash prize of Php.10,000.00 courtesy of CONEC Shirts and a trophy which will be presented during the MTG 20th Anniversary Gala Night on October 24, 2015. A certificate of recognition will be awarded to the artists of the non-winning entries.
