ONG GETS PERFECT SCORE IN CIMC, PHL IS 1ST IN OVERALL RANKING
Once again, another Filipino math wizard is in the limelight for achieving a perfect score in the 2017 Canadian Intermediate Mathematics Contest (CIMC), placing the Philippines first in the overall ranking among the 112 teams from 30 countries.
Stefan Marcus Ong from St. Jude Catholic School stands the tallest for his show of faultless performance where he scored 30 out of 30 in each of the two parts of the contest. He will be awarded a CIMC medal and a certificate of distinction.
The other CIMC winners who will be receive certificate of distinction for being in the top 25% of the contestants are the following:
