MATH WHIZ KIDS GEARED UP FOR 2ND ROUND IMAS

Filipino math wizards who are recipients of high distinction certificates are set to sit for the 2nd round of International Mathematics Assessments for Schools (IMAS) to be held at selected MTG centers and schools on 9AM, Saturday, March 9, 2019.
This year, one hundred seventy nine students from the following divisions, middle primary division , upper primary division and high school division are challenged to answer fifteen questions, problems 1 to 5 (multiple choice type); problems 6 – 13 (requiring short answers), and problems 14 to 15 (demanding detailed solution).
The students must be in their school uniform, they must bring pencil, blue or black ball pens to write the solutions or answers, but are prohibited to use any electronic computing devices or gadgets.
In the 2nd round IMAS, the top 5% percentile participants will be awarded gold medal, each of the 6% to 15% percentile participants will be awarded silver medal and each of the 16% to 30% percentile participants will receive bronze medal.
The following are the lists of participants, names of contest venues and more importantly the student codes to be written on the answer sheets on contest day.
