Close to two thousand smart math students have registered to participate in the 2019 International Kangaroo Mathematics Competition (IKMC) –Philippines which is set at different MTG training centers at 9AM, Saturday, on March 23, 2019.

 

Math wizards joining the IKMC are encouraged to bring their ID’s and be in their school uniform. They, too, are reminded to bring pencils and erasers. The use of any electronic computing devices is prohibited.

 

The IKMCPH, a unique math contest, is open to all students from grades 3 to 12 with six different categories and differing levels of difficulty to generate their creativity and critical thinking and to increase their ability to answer HOTS questions in mathematics.

 

The Kangaroo Math Contest is a multiple-choice 75-minute test. The questions have the form of word and/or picture problems. They are prepared by the Association Kangourou sans Frontières - which meets annually to propose questions for the next Math Kangaroo test for students in more than 70 countries.
