It’s another crowning achievement for the Filipino math wizard for coming out on top in the final round of the 2019 Asia Mathematics Olympics (AMO) which was held at Arellano University on July 21, 2019.
Jerome Austin Te of Jubilee Christian Academy is the only one of the eight Filipino math warriors who obtained a mark above the cut-off score. He is being invited by Mr. Hiroaki Noh, the managing director of the Gakken Asia Pacific Pte Ltd to attend the awarding ceremony in Tokyo, Japan on August 25, 2019.
Furthermore, it was a great performance of the other math wizards for reaching the AMO final round, they were Zion Skye Earl Carmelo Uy from Ateneo De Manila Grade School, Franchesca Canary Leoncio from St. Mary’s College of Meycauayan, Neo Angelo Gatlabayan from British School Manila, Reysheilanne Doromal from Hua Siong College of Iloilo, Mohammad Nur Casib from My Precious Child Learning Center, Gadriel Symone Dalangin and Michael Gerard Tongson from Stonyhurst Southville International School –Malarayat. All of them will receive an AMO finalist certificate.
