TOP TEAMS TO PLAY OFF FOR THE NCR MATH TRAIL TITLE

Eighteen teams will meet head on in the National Capital Region finals of the MTG-SHARP-DEPED-SM Math Trail and Problem
Solving Competition to be held at Skydome, SM City North EDSA, 10AM, Thursday, November 21, 2019.
Math trail is an exploratory activity which allows participants to relate math to the real world. The trail takes them on a predetermined route with 6 stations or checkpoints where they will have to gather data to complete mathematical tasks. The contest aims at providing students an in-depth experience to learn mathematics in a collaborative manner; developing their speed and precision in data gathering, measurement and following instructions; and improving their higher order thinking skills through games and problem solving.
The following teams from different Metro Manila high schools after topping in the elimination round will face off in the regional finals are:

- Sen. Renato “Compañero” Cayetano Memorial High School
- Signal Village National High School
- Taguig Science High School
- Upper Bicutan National High School
- Gideon Academy
- Tandang Sora Integrated School
