The Filipino math wizards clinched major awards as they engaged in fierce competition from among the brightest young minds from 23 countries and territories, gaining them an astounding tally of 540 awards.

A total of 179 students won the coveted first-place or Gold medal awards, making them receive a prize-winning pin for displaying their prowess in solving complex mathematical problems. Furthermore, an impressive 225 Filipino students secured second-place or Silver awards, reflecting their exceptional mathematical abilities. The competition also acknowledged the remarkable achievements of 491 students who clinched third-place or Bronze awards for unveiling the remarkable potential that lies within them. The Silver and Bronze winners will receive certificates of achievement.

The Living Maths Olympiad was participated in exclusively by all MTG trainees enrolled in the 2023 – 2024 ‘12-Saturday Training Program’ to empower them to think critically and solve intricate problems with remarkable precision.

The Living Maths Olympiad organized by the Science Technology Engineering Mathematics Innovation in Cape Town, South Africa since 1995 is an innovative mathematically-based enrichment program run by a dynamic collection of post-graduate students, with supportive partners, forward-thinking schools, and enthusiastic students who thirst for knowledge.
